The XTERRA ITALIAN TOUR 2012, from October 6th - October 7th.

RACE ROUTE
The swim section starts on the splendid beach of Calamita. The MTB course will take place in the demanding Bike Park Monte Calamita; which is already the happy and extraordinary seat of the MTB World Cup of 1994. It has just been redefined for the success of the MTB “Legend Cup” which took place in May 2012. The finish is located in the famous fairy-tale piazza Matteotti; the true heart and soul of the characteristic commune of Capoliveri; which has captured the imagination of famous personalities of the world of culture and theatre such as the singer Biagio Antonacci and the writer Giorgio Faletti, who is actually a resident of the commune.

SWIM:
he Swim takes place at the beautiful beach of Calamita which has a great view on the race route immersed in crystal waters and defined by 3 yellow buoys and supervised by staff and official boats.

BIKE:
After a rapid ascent of 1,5km, the circuit moves on to the fabulous panorama of Monte Calamita, an ancient dirt track that gently undulates and dominates from above the bay and beaches of Capoliveri. The re-entry with the second transition is set up in the historic centre of Capoliveri.

RUN:
Leaving the historic centre, after several metres of track, you return to the panoramic dirt track of Monte Calamita in a there and back race; characterized by breathtaking glimpses of the view. The elevated profile is slightly moved and the arrival is located in the famous piazza Matteotti.
